Turning Black Friday to White Friday

(23 NOV 17) Cortland, NY – It may be green in your backyard, but it's white in ours! Greek Peak Mountain Resort broke an early snowmaking record when they turned 64 guns on November 9th through that weekend. The mountain piled the snow and held it to when temperatures allowed the Hill Crew to push out the snow on their trails. The annual goal is to open the day after Thanksgiving and it looks like Greek Peak is going to hit their goal!

Greek Peak Mountain Resort restarted snowmaking operations last night and into this morning. The Mountain will open with 6 trails this weekend (Fri-Sun) from 8:30a-4:00p. Adult and Junior tickets will be $43.00 per lift ticket, with a Twilight Pass at $22 from 2p-4p. The open trails will be a mix of Easier (Green) to More Difficult (Blue).

Greek Peak is planning to stay open thru the weekend and open again next weekend, 12/2-12/3. Greek Peak Mountain Resort will continue their snowmaking when temperatures allow and will open additional terrain as soon as possible.
