This Sunday, join the Easter non-denominational service at the top of Little Whiteface, beginning at 8 a.m. The Cloudsplitter Gondola opens at 7:15 a.m. and is free to foot passengers attending service.
In case of inclement weather, the service will be held in the base lodge's Ausable Room. Following the service, there's an Easter Buffet in the J. Lohr Wine Bar and Café, from 8:30–10:30 a.m. and an Easter Egg Hunt, with over 4,000 eggs, open for children ages 6 and under on the Mixing Bowl at 11 a.m. Children ages 7-12 can take part in the 11:30 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt ,on the Bear Trail, and later in the afternoon, there's a hunt for all ages on Boreen and Upper and Lower Valley.
On Saturday, after a full day of spring skiing and snowboarding on the Olympic mountain, there's live music in the Cloudspin Lounge, from 2 – 6 p.m., with musicians Josh West and Friends, Annie in the Water, and the Twiddle Combo Jam Band.
Don't forget that the Mt. Van Hoevenberg Nordic Center is still open. Fifty-kilometers is expected to be available for the holiday weekend.
