Summer Fun Is Back
Summer action kicks off at Whiteface this Friday, June 30th, just in time for the holiday weekend! With the return of the Cloudsplitter Gondola, our Disc Golfcourse, and hiking, there's lots of warm weather fun in our future.
A scenic cruise up our Cloudsplitter Gondola is the perfect activity for anyone looking for spectacular views of Lake Placid and the beautiful surrounding Adirondack mountains. If you're hoping to get yourself outside and moving around, adventure out on one of our guided hikes or test your luck in our 9-hole disc golf course.\
While we're stoked on summer for now, our mountain operations crew has been hard at work on the installation of our new quad, "The Notch". This high speed lift will span from the base of Bear Den to the top of Legacy Lodge and is anticipated to open during the 2023/24 ski season. Each day we get a little bit closer, so keep an eye out for more lift updates coming soon.
The Legacy Sites Passport is Back!
Visit all of the Lake Placid Legacy Sites and try some of our most popular activities for one low price! The Passport package includes a one-time admission to the Veterans’ Memorial Highway, a ride on Whiteface Mountain’s Cloudsplitter gondola, the Olympic Legacy Tour at Mt Van Hoevenberg, Skyride Experience at the Olympic Jumping Complex, and entry to the Lake Placid Olympic Museum at the Olympic Center.
Star Spangled Ski Jump | July 2
Experience the excitement of a regional Nordic Ski jumping event at the Olympic Jumping Complex. Add a Skyride and be on the Coachs deck of the take-off as the athletes soar through the air. Take a Sky Flyer Zipline ride and glide down the landing hill, replicating the experience of ski jumping yourself. Join us for this annual event, where you can grab a bite from our food trucks, join in Lawn Games, participate in a Water Balloon relay and win fantastic prizes. This is a favorite family day of sport and Ski Jumping at the Olympic Jumping Complex.
