Program Rules 

The 2019-2020 ISKINY Free For Kids Passport Program is a non-transferrable card which entitles the 3rd or 4th grader to whom it is issued to obtain complimentary one-day lift tickets or a learn to ski or snowboard package, subject to the terms and conditions set forth below, at participating New York State ski resorts (subject to change) during the 2019-2020 season. The area ski resorts participating in the 2019-20 season.

The Passport is valid at all participating resorts while open from 12/1/18 to 5/1/19.

New for 2019-20 - NO blackout dates! 

Check each ski area on our website as dates may vary per ski area.

The Ski & Ride Passport may be used to obtain no more than three (3) complimentary one-day child lift tickets at each participating resort with an adult ticket purchase between 12/1/19 - 5/1/20, while the ski area is open - no blackout dates.

The Learn To Ski/Snowboard Package Passport must be used to obtain one (1) Free Beginner Lesson, Rental and Beginner Lift Ticket Package for skiing or snowboarding for the 3rd or 4th Grader without an adult ticket purchase - subject to blackout dates.

The lift tickets from the Ski & Ride Passport or the learn to package obtained from the Learn To Ski & Ride Passport package may not be transferred or resold to any other person, including family members or relatives. It is a violation of New York State Law to resell lift tickets or packages. SANY or any area in the program will immediately revoke a Passport if the holder transfers use of the Passport or of any lift ticket obtained with the Passport to another person, for monetary consideration or otherwise.

The Ski & Ride Passport may be presented by the 3rd or 4th Grade holder to obtain a complimentary one-day lift ticket only when accompanied by a paying adult (as determined by member resort*). A maximum of three(3) 3rd or 4th Grade Passport holders per adult redemption may obtain a complimentary one-day lift ticket using the Passport.

The Learn To Ski & Ride Passport may be used to obtain one Beginner Learn to Ski or Snowboard package for free at each participating ski area and includes a beginner group lesson, beginner lift ticket (where applicable) and rental package.

SANY or any ski area will revoke and cancel a Passport card without notice for any passport card misuses. Passport holders and their parent or legal guardian are responsible for proper use of the Passport at all times. SANY is also not fiscally responsible for denials of redemption in the program by the ski area.

If a Passport is lost or stolen, notify SANY immediately. Participating resort lift ticket offices cannot assist with lost or stolen Passports. Contact the I SKI NY Offices at 315-696-6550 or for assistance. Office hours are Monday – Friday from 9am - 4pm.

There are no refunds — regardless of injury, weather or other factors.

All Passport holders agree to comply with all rules and regulations of participating SANY member resorts and with all other applicable laws and regulations, including the New York Skier Safety Code.

An individual is eligible for the ISKINY Free for Kids Passport only once for each 3rd Grader and 4th Grader. Ski areas have the final decision on passport redemption.

All information provided in ISKINY Free for Kids Passport application is subject to verification by SANY. All information provided in the application becomes the property of SANY. Information provided by Free for Kids Passport applicants may be used by SANY and its member resorts for verification and for market research purposes.

Redemption of Ski & Ride Passport
Ski areas will redeem a Ski & Ride Passport for a free lift ticket (up to 3 per 
participating ski area) when an adult purchase is made either on-site or online at 
the ski areas own online store or via the I SKI NY Cloud Store. Included are season pass purchases and discount cards issued by the ski area only. Discounted lift tickets purchased elsewhere that is not from the ski area or I SKI NY directly are not valid for passport redemption. Free lift tickets or passes or vouchers or those from other professions are not valid for passport redemption.

For the Learn to Ski & Ride Passport no lift ticket purchase is necessary however a reservation at the ski area ski school may be required. The learn to ski and ride passport program is a package for beginners and those who have never skied and snowboarded before. It may not be used for advanced or private lessons. Subject to blackout dates.
