Greek Peak Mountain Resort Adds Twin Creeks Mining Company and a New
Creekside 9 Disc Golf Course to Summer Adventure Lineup

CORTLAND, New York (June 15, 2026) – Greek Peak Mountain Resort is expanding its summer activities with two new family-friendly additions at The Adventure Center: Twin Creeks Mining Company at Greek Peak and a new Creekside 9 Disc Golf course.

Opening in late June, the Twin Creeks Mining Company at Greek Peak gives kids and families a hands-on way to search, sift, and uncover small treasures together. Guests choose a mining bag, rinse it through the flowing water sluice, and reveal gemstones, fossils, shells, shark teeth, tumbled stones, and other fun finds they can take home.

“Families are always looking for activities they can enjoy together, and Gem Mining creates a fun, interactive experience that appeals to kids of all ages,” said Wes Kryger, President of Greek Peak Mountain Resort. “There’s something exciting about discovering hidden treasures, and it’s another way we’re continuing to build memorable experiences for families visiting the resort throughout the summer.

Also new this summer, Greek Peak will open Creekside 9, a brand-new 9-hole beginner disc golf course located near The Adventure Center. Designed for new players, families, and casual groups, Creekside 9 offers an approachable way to try disc golf while giving returning players even more to enjoy at the resort.

The new course is included with Greek Peak’s regular disc golf day pass. For just $6, guests can play Creekside 9 along with the full 18-hole Disc Golf at Hope Lake course. “Disc golf continues to grow in popularity, and Creekside 9 gives guests an easy and enjoyable introduction to the sport,” Kryger said. “Whether someone is playing for the first time or looking for a quick round before tackling our full course, this addition helps make Greek Peak an even more complete destination for outdoor recreation."

Together, Gem Mining at Greek Peak and the new Creekside 9 Disc Golf give guests more ways to round out a summer visit to the resort, whether they are staying at Hope Lake Lodge, visiting Cascades Indoor Waterpark, or spending the day at The Adventure Center.
