Lake Placid to Host Porsche Club of America’s 70th Annual Porsche Parade June 14–20
LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (May 27, 2026) — The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (Olympic Authority) and the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST) are sharing a preview of what’s ahead as the Porsche Club of America (PCA) brings its 70th annual Porsche Parade to Lake Placid from June 14-20, drawing an estimated 2,600 attendees and 1,300 vehicles for a weeklong celebration of automotive performance, community, and competition.
Centered at the Lake Placid Olympic Center and Conference Center, the weeklong event will feature a full lineup of exhibitions, social gatherings, competitions, banquets, and excursions throughout the Adirondacks. While the Parade is primarily a member event, the public will have opportunities to experience select activities during the week.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
PCA National Concours d’Elegance
The premier event of the week, the Concours d’Elegance, will take place Monday, June 15 at the historic James C. Sheffield Speed Skating Oval. Regarded by many as the highlight of Parade week, the showcase features Porsche vehicles of all eras — from meticulously restored classics to modern daily drivers — positioned around the track and set against the backdrop of the Adirondack Mountains and the Olympic venues. The public is welcome to attend, with food options available.
Public Events and Activities at Olympic Venues and Across the Region
Select Parade activities and displays will be visible to the public throughout the week at Olympic Authority venues and communities across the region, including the Cars & Community gathering on Main Street in Saranac Lake.
Regional Driving Tours
Participants will explore the Adirondack region through organized driving tours offered Tuesday, June 16 through Friday, June 19, departing from the Olympic Jumping Complex. These tours are limited to registered attendees and will bring Porsche vehicles to destinations across the region, including Fort Ticonderoga, The Wild Center, Ausable Chasm, and Tumblehome Boatshop in Warrensburg. One featured excursion includes a visit to Revolution Rail in North Creek, with rail biking and lunch at Timber & Thyme Restaurant at The Station in the North Creek Ski Bowl.
Grand Finale
The week concludes Saturday, June 20 with the Parade of Porsches, departing at 10 a.m. from the Olympic Jumping Complex. Spectators can view the procession along the route.
