Bristol, NY — April 2, 2026 — After 111 days, our 2025–2026 winter season has come to a close, and Bristol Mountain is grateful for an exceptional year filled with memorable milestones, strong community engagement, and outstanding athletic achievement.
This season, Bristol proudly hosted the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Skiing Championships, welcoming top high school athletes from across the state to compete at the highest level. The mountain also served as the venue for multiple Section V Alpine and Nordic races, further reinforcing its reputation as a premier destination for competitive Snowsports in the region.
In addition, Bristol was honored to host the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association Mideast Regional Alpine Ski Competition in February, bringing collegiate athletes from across the Mideast region to compete on its slopes.
Adding to the excitement, Bristol welcomed members of the U.S. Olympic Freestyle Aerial Team for training throughout the season. Their presence not only elevated the level of competition but also inspired young skiers and riders who had the unique opportunity to watch world-class athletes up close. The mountain also proudly hosted an Olympic watch party for hometown Olympian Chris Lillis, celebrating as he and his team brought home a gold medal.
“These events represent the very best of what our sport has to offer,” said Dan Fuller, President of Bristol Mountain. “From hosting championship-level competitions to creating opportunities for the next generation of athletes, this season showcased the strength and spirit of our Snowsports community.”
Beyond competition, the season was marked by strong participation across all programs, from Snowsports School lessons to recreational skiing and riding. Guests enjoyed consistently excellent conditions thanks to the dedication of Bristol’s mountain operations and snowmaking teams.
As the lifts slow and the snow begins to melt, Bristol Mountain extends its sincere thanks to its guests, staff, and community partners for making this season such a success.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who spent their winter with us,” added Fuller. “We look forward to welcoming guests back for summer and fall activities, and another exciting winter season ahead.”
