Hey Oak Mountain Family!

Spring at Oak Mountain is officially here, and it’s looking beautiful! We’re gearing up for a classic Adirondack weekend with a mix of sun and fresh flakes. These mild temperatures, paired with the chance of new snow, are creating those legendary spring conditions - perfect for cruising your favorite trails and soaking up every minute of the great outdoors. Grab your gear and come enjoy the best of the season!

There’s nothing quite like March in the Adirondacks. We’re keeping the traditions alive this weekend with the OMR Slalom Fun Race on Saturday, March 14th. It’s free, it’s fun, and it’s open to everyone from our youngest rippers to our long-time regulars. Be sure to get to the base lodge between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM to register. Spots fill up fast!

Coming Soon: The Big Splash! Our legendary Pond Skimming Day is just around the corner on March 21st. It’s time to start thinking about those costumes! We’ll have live music, family feud, and plenty of Adirondack spirit to go around.

Pond Skimming!

This great event could be the best event of the year. Dress in your pond clothes (costumes encouraged) and try your luck in Matt O'Brien's version of a swimming pool on your skis or snowboard! Ages 12 & Older. NO Entry fee and only 50 entries allowed for this one.
Registration will begin at 8:30am. At time of registration, we will ask for your song choice... DJ2T will be here playing during the event!

The Pondskimming is located right in the base area, spectators be sure to bring your cameras!

The Acorn!

Join us for some delicious food in a casual atmosphere. Our food is inspired by life here in the Adirondacks. The carefully designed menus by Chef Justin Paterson, have a wide variety of options that cater to the hungry skier, rider, your special event guests and even the little ones too. Thirsty? Enjoy 6 craft beers on tap, signature cocktails and Shirley Temples, all with the mountain views.

Spring Is The Best Time to Learn!

Spring's softer snow and warmer temps make it the most comfortable and confidence boosting time to be on the mountain. Whether you're a total beginner or just need a quick refresher, our passionate instructors at the Oak Mountain Ski & Snowboard School are here to help you level up.

From our mellow beginner hill to the glades and black diamonds, there’s a trail for everyone to explore.

Snow Tubing!

Check out this family-fun-loving, snow tubing adventure that's close to home. It's fun, it's easy, and better than sledding any day! No experience or special equipment is needed. Just hop in the tube and enjoy the ride.  Tubing tickets include the tube, the handle tow lift to pull you up and the 90 minutes of tubing.  (Weight: up to 275lbs)

Open Saturday and Sundays 9:15am-4pm.

**To tube, a child MUST BE 36" tall and must RIDE the tube ALONE.**

**Tickets must be purchased online in advance. **
