Oaktoberfest Is Here!
This is going to be an amazing weekend here at Oak Mountain, Oaktoberfest is finally here. There will be plenty of fun for the entire family! See below for a list of activities and vendors. This really is one of our favorite activities here at the mountain. Plus, the weather looks like it's going to be fantastic and the leaves are beginning to pop.
With the coming of fall and cooling evening temperatures we are beginning to get ready for the upcoming ski season. We are so looking forward to seeing you all on the mountain again this year. Have you gotten your Season Pass yet? Sales are limited and we will sell out. We have also partnered with Snow Triple Play It's a great opportunity to explore more and ski more. You get 3 days at 16 different amazing mountains.
Reminder there is a wedding this weekend and next. Trails will close at noon on Saturday and the Acorn Pub and Eatery will only be open Thursday and Friday 4pm - 8pm. If you know of anyone planning there perfect day for 2026 we are now taking reservations. Oaktoberfest Is Here
This Sunday, September 28, 12pm - 4pm! There will be live music from Live Music w/ The Altered Tones 12pm - 2pm and The Insolent Willies 2:30pm - 4:30pm; Face Painting, Campstore! w/ Kettle Corn, Lemonade and Cotton Candy. Scenic Lift Rides for $10 (cash only); Hiking and Mountain Biking; Summit Hot Dog & Chili (proceeds go to Oak Mountain Ski Patrol!) There will be a Beer & Wine Sampling of Paradox, Zero Gravity, Founders, Josh Cellars, Down East Cider and Long Drink. We have a Vendors & Craft Market featuring Paca Gardens, Brian Dorr Woodworking, Nevitrek Snowshoes, Aunt B’s Baubles, American Horse Woodworking, Jordan Essentials, Ambreeka James Designs, Speculator Volunteer Fire Dept, and Abelgardens Kitchen- Chef Carolyn Abel. The Acorn Pub & Eatery will be featuring Fall Favorites & a Full Bar! Mtn Side Concession will also be serving goodies. Come join in all the festivities!

Season Pass
What’s better than a day at Oak Mountain? A whole season! Our season pass programs are a great way for families, friends, groups, and deal seekers to enjoy all that we have to offer. Especially, with the added benefits, savings and convenience memberships offer. We will be limiting them again this year to keep a consistent capcity, so get your's now! Season Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Bike Park
Help us expand our bike park! We are super excited about our partnership with Camp of the Woods, and together we're planning the addition of two new trails designed to expand access, improve rider experience, and allow for more flexible use of the mountain during wedding events. Ever wanted to work where you play? Now's your chance! We are hiring for the 2025/2026 season. We are looking for Snowboard and Ski Instructors, rental techs, an alpine race coach, and volunteer ski patrollers to name a few.
