September 2026 at Greek Peak
Fall is starting to settle in at Greek Peak, bringing crisp mountain air, changing leaves, cooler nights, and a whole new lineup of reasons to get outside and make the most of the season.
This month, look for fall riding at the Bike Park, new snowmaking work on Olympian, cozy stays at Hope Lake Lodge, weekday specials at Waterfalls Spa, and a new Monday Vinyasa Yoga series. We’re also looking ahead to some of October’s biggest events, including Greek Peak Fall Fest, Freak at the Peak: Haunted Coaster, and the Summit Shootout.
There’s still plenty happening before winter arrives - and just enough snowmaking activity in the background to remind us what’s coming next.
Whether you’re here for the foliage, the adventure, a weekend getaway, or simply an excuse to spend more time on the mountain, September is a pretty great time to be at Greek Peak.
ON THE MOUNTAIN

Snowmaking Comes to Olympian
One of Greek Peak’s most iconic trails is getting a major winter upgrade.
Work is now underway to bring snowmaking to Olympian, including its famously steep headwall. With pitches pushing 40°, installing new snowmaking lines here is no small undertaking—but the payoff will be worth it.
The project will give our team more control over coverage and conditions on one of the mountain’s most challenging runs, helping us make more snow, build a stronger base, and create more opportunities to get Olympian open when Mother Nature cooperates.
More coverage. More turns. More Olympian.

Bringing younger adventurers? 6–7pm is our less-spooky hour, with the scares dialed back for little ones and anyone who prefers their Halloween fun on the lighter side. After 7pm, the creatures come out to play.

Mountain Mike’s What-If Conspiracy Theory: The Pipes Aren’t for Snowmaking
If you’ve spent any time around Greek Peak this summer, you’ve probably noticed something: we have been burying a whole lot of pipe.

And sure. That makes sense. Probably. But after watching enough pipe vanish underground, a guy starts to wonder. Read more…
